Classic paints and Astartes woes (again)

Hey all,

Firstly- there has been a lack of painting and modelling on this blog. Rest assured stuff will be photographed soon, just in the middle of exams (last one this Sat, followed by a housewarming of sorts) and then hopefully some painting.

In accordance with this, I ordered a while back a buncha Vallejo game colour paints as they copy ~99.99% the old citadel ones and I loved those paints. So I got the equivalents of a buncha basic ones (old citadel name used):

  • Blood Red
  • Red Gore
  • Dark Flesh
  • Bestial Brown
  • Bad Moon Yellow
  • Sunburst Vellow
  • Golden Yellow
  • Goblin Green
  • Enchanted Blue
  • Ultramarine Blue
  • Boltgun Metal
  • Shining Gold
  • Brazen Brass 
This added in with the Dark Angels Green, Snot Green, Vermin Brown and Tausept Ochre plus a few others I have, I'm gonna be doing some classic paint jobs soon! ON GOBLIN GREEN BASES MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! I don't even think BushCraft is that diabolical >:D

Although, getting the Ultramarine blue is making me nervous about which SPEHSS MEHREN colour scheme now. I thought I wanted to do Bluhd Rehvans but Ultra...marines. Plus most basic chapters are on the transfer sheet and I've gazillions of those...

For those who haven't tried Vallejo, give them a go- they work just like the old citadel paints and have good coverage without having to thin.

Lets just say the next month is gonna be good. (no uni but work, so painting in spare time yaaaaaaay!)
