I finally got in some real games of Infinity, not just BS soloing by myself. I found a nice group of players locally and they were very helpful in getting me up to speed about how to play. I have to say I really love that game. Not just for the miniatures, but I think Corvus Belli really conducts itself well, and the rules are unique and interesting. It also turns out that I was right to pick Shasvastii as my first army, as their sneaky, tricksy nature is right up my alley. I only wish that the Speculo Killer model weren’t so cheezy, as that is an incredibly awesome unit in the game. Probably my favorite for my sectorial. I see several other models I could pick up to proxy one, most obviously the spec-ops model, which doesn’t have set rules anyhow, but I do hope that CV puts out an updated Speculo in the near future. Who knows when that will be, however, given all the attention they are finally giving the long neglected Morats.
