In the beginning...

It all came in yesterday and I set about building it all up last night.

Here's the top of the box, explaining what's in the box. As a new player, some of this is gibberish to me, but it helped when I went over to the forums to see what my little army could do, what they were used for.

Let's take a look at the contents. As you can see each model comes in its own little bag. That's helpful.

Not many parts in each bag but some of them downright microscopic. Careful with handling these, drop one and you may be in for quite a hunt.

Once you decide how you're going to proceed, grab a model and go at it. I chose the Swiss Guard, simply because he looks badass - handling a missile launcher and a knife!

Here he is laid out on a piece of foam, to help me see everything and make sure that I don't lose parts on the table or floor.

While the parts are small, I've never had a problem putting Infinity models together. They fit smoothly and neatly into their slots and are so light that they usually stay put the first time.

You'll note that even if you don't use custom bases (mine are on order and on the way!) you'll need to clip the tab as the bases included with the models are not slotted.

Here is the finished Swiss Guard, ready for action. I used only a touch of glue on one foot so moving him over to the Micro Arts base is less problematic while allowing me to play on Monday.

Last pic is just the first three models I put together in the box. I won't bore with any more detail except to remind you that while the models don't need much clean up or assembly, there are a couple of pieces you need to be careful with.

Next we'll look at building my first Micro Arts building! Thanks for reading!
