It has been a long while since I posted last.  A lot has happened since then.  Moved 3,000 miles, changed job amongst other things.  I still hobby like there is not tomorrow, building anything I can get my hands on.  But painting.... that's another story.  I was looking at my latest project and started to get frustrated.

For those who know me, I used to paint at least an hour a day, usually 7 days a week.  When I got out of retail that time started to go down.  Then I had a kid, then got a dog and had another kid and had more shoulder issues.  There was a time when I couldn't hold a hobby knife or paint brush for a good 6 months.

However, since then, I have 'writers block' when it comes to painting.  I look at what I do and am not happy with it.  I used to be better and faster and I get in my own way about painting.  I need to stop worrying about what I used to do and focus on what I can do.  Modelling has gotten me though some rough times in life, I need to not get caught up on small things.

The other big thing I miss is making terrain.  That is something that needs to start happening again, stat.

So hopefully now, I can start to tinker away at things, I am hoping to update the blog weekly just to keep me going.  If you want to follow along, feel free to chime in!  I could always use the support!

Cheers,
Jordan
