While working on my new Stormtalon, I had some downtime so I decided to paint some Aspect Warriors to add to my older squads. First off, I painted another Warp Spider so that I can run my squad 10 strong without an Exarch.

Second, I painted another Swooping Hawk so I my squad is not 6 strong. This means that their grenade packs are a large blast rather than just blast. Certainly handy for a few extra points.

I think I did a reasonably good job of matching the paint jobs, which are originally from almost a decade ago. Most of the paints aren't available anymore, but I was able to find decent approximations of them. I think the newer models are definitely cleaner and brighter, with stronger highlighting.
Well, that's my little side project. Hopefully my next painting post will be the Stormtalon.
