Got back from vacation late Saturday so we didn’t host any games.
Last week was both productive and relaxing. I spent some time early last week fixing up my garage, and then took a few days in Minneapolis. Went the the Vikings game on Friday with my family. The kids enjoyed it and we all had a good time even though it was just preseason.
We also spent quite a bit of time at the Mall of America. My wife and daughter loved the Barbie exhibit and my son and I enjoyed the Star Trek exhibit. Instead of trying to fit everything in on Friday, we decided to take time on Saturday to go back to the mall for Nickelodeon Universe. We rode a bunch of rides and had a great time. My daughter was a little freaked out about the log ride, but once we got her onto the ride she had a great time. They all loved the big roller coaster that circled the entire park.
It was the first family vacation where we didn’t have some other family obligation included, and it was a lot of fun.
