“How fair are the bright eyes in the grass! Evermind they are called, Simbelmynë in this land of Men, for they blossom in all the seasons of the year, and grow where dead men rest.”

- The Two Towers

My Orc tribe from the Misty Mountains is not that small anymore and I felt that I could come up with something different again. As I am planing to raid the villages of Rohan and confront my club mate Flattervieh’s Rohirim on the table I had to go for the forces of Isengard. I would like to focus on the fierce Uruk-Hai, maybe adding some regular Orcs later but most likely no men from Dunland.

So I sat down and painted a test Uruk to get down with a colour scheme like one always does with a new project. As a little tease for the men of Rohan the cruel Uruk-Hai is crushing the Flowers of Rohan under his iron boots.

I didn't paint a LotR model for quite some time now and was surprised again how tiny even a big guy is in comparison. Here he is standing next to someone who values the flowers a bit more.
