Greetings,

I hope your journey was uneventful and as safe as can be in these tumultuous times. As the land is bleak here and the climate is cold, this will be a long and harsh journey. I pray that you will survive until the end as if you do, you will be rewarded beyond your wildest dreams. Come, mortal. Become a Slave to Darkness and embrace the Dark Gods.

Do not hesitate for my masters despise weakness and will cast off the weak. In this world, the flesh of the weak is the food of the strong. The strong live, the weak die. No matter how hard you smile you can't run from the truth. You had best embrace this reality that is as harsh and unyielding as this land.

If you are ready, follow me into Darkness.

Hey all,

In my last post I squee'd at obtaining some old-school chaos goodness as I have a thing for 6th edition warhammer fantasy models. Currently the loot is in transit here but I have plenty of chaos stuff to make/paint/etc in the meantime...or endtime (geddit, cuz of the Endtimes books?).

Now, for 40k my dream army is Biel-tan eldar but for Warhammer fantasy my dream army is 6th edition Hordes of Chaos. I just love the old mortal/daemon bleedover and the old hunchbacked chaos warriors. They appear significantly more chaotic than their modern counterparts. I need to track down the Beasts of Chaos book too as I plan to include ogres and trolls into my Grand Army of the Chaos Wastes.

As of now I'm planning on making this Horde of Chaos thing an actual project and since rec leave alleviated the burn-out, I have the motivation to carry this through FOR THE DARK GODS MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!

*ahem*

Anyhow, first off the bat is a unit of 5 chaos ogres with two hand weapons and Mark of Khorne as why the hell not? First photo was with base camera, the others were with a light filter as my camera is dumb. Also used transfers for these guys :)

Well, that's it so far. I'll try and get stuff done each fortnight and see how long it takes to complete everything.
