The next PC (Player Character)for my rather delayed Dark Heresy campaign is a giant of a man.
Hooded so that no one can see his face, the other players can only guess at his past and intentions. At least, they would if they cared enough.
He's based on the ever present Nurgle Lord figure that's been utilised to great effect by several other people - perhaps most notably John Blanche.
The mass of sores and blisters were smoothed out with green stuff, and a crude hood sculpted over the stump of the head.
Painting was once again trying for the typical 'Blanche' style, with large amounts of pink flesh and dark metal contrasted by turquoise and off-white markings.
Some tattoos livened up the expanses of skin on his belly and arms, freehanded with a dark shade of turqoise. For comparison, below is a picture taken before the tattoos were added.
The axe from the original kit was retained but with a new, straighter handle and a different pose, with a knife added to his other hand.
The rocket launcher on his back is mainly an in-game addition. It gives the party a lot of firepower if they need it, but they only have four rockets for it. So far they've not fired any of them...
