It's been a while. Less than twenty-four hours in fact. -_-
Yes, someone felt on a roll with painting and as such has painted a unit of 5 screamers of Tzeentch. I feel inclined to make the magic-y stand from the screamer chariot kit into a filler base, but ehhhhhhhhhh lazy. More may be added in the forseeable future, eventually, once every-bloody-thing else is done. So far the Legion of Chaos is leaning towards undivided+nurgle, with most khorne units horribad expensive and slaaneshi stuff hard to paint. Tzeentch stuff is blue, blue is easy to paint (except on marines for me for some reason O.o )
The colour scheme was based off real-world manta/sting rays but a tad more blue (they started off grey, then Thunderhawk blue happened) . The ventral sides (not shown here, camera couldn't get a good angle) are a creamy white/brown with some blending into the dorsal side colour.
What's slightly disappointing with the screamers in general is that they don't exactly have neat fits, which is kinda frustrating when you paint. Still, hardly noticeable now as the 40mm gap sorta needs filling -_-;
Hgnnnnnnnhgggggghhhhhh must...resist...urge to...fill...gap....gah.
Yeah, defs gotta fill that gap.
I may also do a bit more work on the teeth, as they look kinda afflicted with tooth decay (hey, the Realm of Chaos doesn't have free dental).
