Derp It Yerself: Thick as…spray primer?

Hey all,

This has happened for the last time. I've just received through the post some Army Painter spray primer (pure red) and went to try it out. Needless to say it went on way too thick, despite light sprays and 30cm away from the test subjects (dreadnoughts). I followed the instructions for crying out loud! T_T

I know people rave about how good they are but I'm going to stick with either white or black primer, GW's brands. Spray primers seems to be one of the few things GW does right -_-

Ugh. Gonna relegate the can of pure red to painting Orks. >.>
