Hey everyone! As the post name and the highlight photo suggests I’ve made some headway with yet another kit in assemblies – this time it’s the Plaguebearers of Nurgle. I also cleaned up and assembled all Genestealers from the Space Hulk set but that will be the topic of another post, possibly Wednesday. Making good progress till I get a chance to use my primers! Take a look at what I’ve been up to.
Ever since finishing the original Horus Heresy trilogy and reading through the Flight of the Eisenstein, I’ve been looking forward to fleshing out some Nurgle daemons that are less comical and gorier than the Nurglings. I guess this weekend provided ample opportunities to go at them and here I got a bunch of them assembled. Not sure if they’re sound on the gaming aspect but having a banner bearer, a champion and a musician together with a dancing Nurgling seemed like a pretty cool idea. All that’s left is a bunch of pieces that will form the last three tallymen.
I also had a chance to visit Xasf at his workshop and thanks to the location where he lives, I found some bark that was scattered as ornaments on the sidewalk… perfect as irregular rocks for bases. I gotta look for these in hardware stores to buy en masse.
My wife got out to take some lovely photos for some competitions and shot some interesting images. While I do not want to spoil all the surprise I’m just really fond of this shot of our very own little Cek (Jack if you will)… so posting it with impunity!
Didn’t get a chance to paint anything and forgetting primers on my way to Xasf was really counterproductive. Now I hope I can get some more kits ready for the spray for this weekend at least. Wish me luck!
