The recently released White Dwarf issue #37 (11. October 2014) featured a mini game written by Jervis Johnson. The rules seemed to be quite entertaining and I came to think about a way how I could use them with my Club Mates. It’s basically a racing game in which each player has got one miniature with some easy to learn rules. Now that I am in a Gorkamorka-mood I thought that it would be a great idea to make this an exclusive orky event. Thus I invited Flattervieh and Elrond de Gravenesse over as they already have some Orks in their collections.
As you can probably remember, I came up with a new bike for this event. Elrond de Gravenesse took the cake as he scratch build a complete new miniature and painted it on the last hours before the game. Great commitment buddy!

Each model can get a special rule. We picked one that would suit the miniatures in charge best. This one here got "heavily armed" because of its massive firepower.

Flattervieh's ride was the famous Von Grommel in his Grot Tank. He had to represent the Death Skullz.

Bang! The race was on! Each participant heated up his engine and added a dice to his speed. Some bullets where in the air but did no harm.

Von Grommel and the Blood Axe kept firing on each other. They couldn't really damage their opponent's ride but lost control over them thus spinning around.

"Get outta ma way!" the Blood Axe bellowed! "You fool are heading in tha wrong direction" Von Grommel shouted back.

Finally the Grot tank was able to drive around both the barrels and his opponent.

The Blood Axe Ork could not turn his ride around fast enough and Von Grommel drove over the finishing line.

This was fun indeed! I would like to thank my club mates Flattevieh and Elrond for this entertaining event. After the race we built a more difficult track with more curves and obstacles. My Biker was only on the second place this time and Von Grommel took the price. I blame the beer! Because if you forget to place your dice next to your miniature after your turn there is a rule that you will choke your ride’s engine off. That “somehow” happened to me during the last gamequite a bit, haha.

After the race there was no doubt left. We need to give Gorkamorka a try!
