Hey all,

Do you remember this from a while back? Well you'll be pleased to know the rescue is well underway!

I was a little bit of a Negative Nancy a few days back (unsurprisingly the interweb rage @ possible typo scatterbikes) and as such deleted said post. Yes I was angry but I didn't need to partake in the anger. I get it- I am bad and I should feel bad because no eldar player ever thought: "Hey, I reckon new bikes with all of them with scatterlasers would be cool". We just wanted the 2007 prototype and plastic aspects at decent prices. Whatchugonnado though. In any case, I did what I normally do when stressed/angry at the community- a cup of earl grey tea and randomly painted a squad (Khornate Bestigors, actual Khorngor models are impossible to find, expect a Slave to Darkness soon).

Getting back on track,  picture dump!

It's time to work some magic
First up, this was my first attempt as magnetizing stuffs as the rotating bit for the turret was glued solidly in there. A bit of drilling and superglued fingers later a magnet sat comfortably where the rotaty thing was.

Hey buddy, wanna buy some Magic?
Since there was only Dark Angels Green haphazardly applied over bare plastic, I just sprayed the thing in Caliban green spray. Best $23 ever spent.

C'mon buddy, first spell's free

Below is the underside sprayed with AP's wolf grey, which I had leftover from something O.o with the in-progress work of whitening.

Did I mention that spell is...Fireball?

This is what everything looks like without my glasses. Blue tac kept the vents their nice brass colour and VGC Imperial blue formed the basis for the windshield. It was either I paint them or have superglue-frosted-white everywhere.

C'mon, everybody likes Fireball

Then OMGWTFBBQ the glass was hard to paint, but I got there in the end. Lining the frame was intense too.

No? How 'bout Cone of Cold? It's refreshing!
See the vents? That's not from artificial light :) tried highlighting them by layering up to mithril silver + sycorax brass.

Okay okay buddy, you've gotta love Magic Missile though, right?

I'm awaiting VMC deep green to apply that on the panels to build up the green- needs to have less grey in it but it's a nice start. Freehand will be attempted also in due course :)

No wait, don't go! I've got er, Prismatic Spray? Banish Undead?
So that's it so far for the rescuing, I must say it looks so much better than before :P
