The End Times are over, the world as we know it is no more and the gates of the realm Ghur are opening to unleash…haha, sorry. Just kidding. Everything here is still like it used to be. The new Troll I’d like to present today is in fact still living in the caves of the Black Mountains between the Empire and the Border Princes. And according to me he will do so happy ever after. Oh, unless there are some mean Heroes disturbing the peaceful life of family Troll of course. As you can see square bases are still state of the art here aswell.

Well, I played a lot of WHQ during the last couple of weeks. In fact my gaming companions and me were able to finally level up a group of Heroes without dying the whole time, which was pretty great. And as the adventures passed by there came a laissez-faire attitude up with the Minotaurs dying under the Heroes’ blades. Warhammer Quest wouldn’t be Warhammer Quest without the constant fear of death, thus I have to come up with a new killer event card which puts the 1D3 Minotaurs event card to shame. While browsing through the list of monsters from the role play book I noticed that trolls are very dangerous. Since I always wanted to have some Trolls included there was no turning back. Event card 1D3 Trolls, we’re coming! And after that hopefully 1D3 River Trolls as I love the new plastic box which I now have an excuse for buying.

The first of three Trolls - soon to frighten even level 2+ heroes.

Just have a look at their stat line. 30 wounds are not easy to come by. Yet the amount of gold the heroes get for slaying might be worth the risk.
