Just a short post today. I want to say that I've enjoyed keeping up with my blog posts lately. In an effort to better communicate with anyone reading the blog I wanted to throw out a few notices.
1. Between now and GenCon I have two updates planned. One is another AoS battle report. The other deals with an Infinity topic. Those will both be posted between now and when I leave for GenCon
2. I will likely have a post about GenCon and what my plans are the day I leave or the night before.
3. After GenCon I'll give a standard wrap-up report like I did for Adepticon.
4. After the GenCon report, I'll be going dark for a while. I don't know how long. I have a work trip in August and my wife and I are working like crazy to get our house on the market (just trying to move locally into a bigger place more suited to the munchkin).
During the blackout period I won't be online much. In fact, I'm largely going to keep my computer turned off and my iPad on lock-down so I don't get distracted. When I'm done with work trips and the house is at least listed for sale, I'll get back to posting.
I really tried hard to avoid going dark. Back in mid-June I had 5 blog posts scheduled. Then I got sick with a horrible virus and and that sucked up three posts. Then I had to scrap one post as it dealt with Warhammer rumors. So I tried to schedule in advance enough articles to keep the blog rolling for a while. It just didn't happen.
When I get back from the blackout period, I will have some gaming related news. I don't want to spill the beans just yet, but, suffice it to say I have a few personal projects going and I'm hoping those will see the light of day somewhat soon (nothing official or published, this would be complete fan-work on my part).
