So, not being able to currently afford the Calth box, I've been pondering lists and the like, and wondered how everyone else would approach this.
You have 300 points to put together a fluffy legion boarding/defending force.
This means no tanks/transports etc. One HQ max. Aimed for zone mortalis style boarding actions.
You can take 2+ saves, but depending how fluffy the idea is I might think less of you for it. It's not really so much about how competitive it would be for games, more for fun, fluffy stuff. No primarchs, named characters are fine if it's fluffy, feel free to bend or break rules as long as you can justify it (for example, see my list).
What would you do?
I'll put either all the lists, or all the ones I think are interesting depending how many people have a go, into a blog post later.
Legion Centurion - 115pts
Moritat, Trophies of judgement, meltabombs, two volkite serpentas
Legion Destroyer squad - 185pts
Sargent with Phosphex bombs.
4 destroyers, one with a missile launcher loaded with suspensor web and rad missiles.
Basically, it's a massive rude-gesture at any niceties of war. Phosphex bombs, rad missiles, and everything except the missile dude has two pistols. Would looks awesome and basically represent the nightlords turning up and gassing everyone. Trophies of judgement give the Moritat fear, because nightlords, and the meltabombs make sense to get through doors. PewPewPew.
