Mi-Go the Crimson Hunter Exarch

Time for another project update. This time it is the first of my Crimson Hunters. Mi-Go the Exarch, Shrine of The Whisperer in Darkness. 



When I originally got the model it was a mixture of the two flyers (oh the joys of 2nd hand). It had the tail, fins and D-Weapons of a Hemlock Wraithfighter and the pulse laser of the Crimson Hunter.


So I had to first decide which way I would configure the craft. This actually came down solely to what would be easier for me to convert a fix. After a quick rummage through the bitz box the answer was a Crimson Hunter. So a couple of knife cuts later and I was able to replace the D-Weapons with some spare Bright lances. Making it the correct load out of weapons. But it still had all the extra fins which I didn't fancy chopping off. So I decided it would be an unique load out for the Exarch.


So there you have it. Some much needed air support for my Eldar. For now Mi-Go is alone but the plan is to expand his shrine and end up with at least 3 of them to make the formation. But that is alot further down the line.
