With this two new terrain pieces I am happy to announce that this was the last step before I am going for a test match on the new board. Initially I wanted to build Amon Hen, the seat of seeing as a centerpiece. But while I was at it I figured the ruin on top of a hill would be really huge. That’s why I went for a regular hill instead. The mission “The High Ground” will now have a fitting piece of terrain as well.
I worked with cork bark for the first time and was quite satisfied with the result. Will definitely give this another try soon. To get the board full I added another terrain piece which I bought online.
Now I am looking forward to the first match on the new board!

I think the cork bark does a real good job as rocks.
Even if it’s not Amon Hen, a little wall on top fits the setting with all the long ruined buildings.
Even cavalry can move up the hill from one of the sides.
The Captain of the Uruk Hai is a size reference again.
