Some more fire power has been added to my collection: a Contemptor Dreadnought with twin Kheres Assault Cannons. With this model I now have three out of five models available for my Word Bearers (only missing out on the “normal Boxnought” and the Deredeo class). For the new class introduced in Book VI there is no model yet, so I’d neglect it in my musings.

This has always been my most favourite Dreadnought layout: Two assault cannons on a Contemptor. More dakka for my Space Marines.

Once again I used my home-made resin bases. I hope they'll fit in nicely with the new bases GW just released.

I really really love the carved patterns around the armour of the dreadnought.

In direkt comparison the Leviathan, the Mhara Gal and the regular Contemptor. I still remember when the Contemptor first came out everybody was amazed by the size of the model. Nowadays the Contemptor is by far the smallest “Heresy-Type” Dreadnought in the Legion Arsenal.
