After I noticed Goatmoerser pumping out one Regiment of Renown Warband after the other and after the first Warhammer Skirmish Battle Report there was no turning back for me. I grabbed the Chaos Dwarfs boxes from the shelf and started the assembling. Of course I immediately ordered more stuff because you never know
An army list was written and a colour scheme was chosen. After the typical long search for the right colours the painting session was due and the first match was already ahead.
Chaos Dwarf Infernal Guard “Dog of War – the Regimental Musician”, “Leader” Nagrot`zarr an Infernal Guard Ironsworn and another Infernal Guard “Dog of War – the Regimental Standard”.
Two other Infernal Guards equiped with a Fireglaive and Handweapon/Shield. On the right the third “Dog of War – Hand Crafted Ammo” with a Fireglaive.
Three Hobgoblins are “escorting” the Chaos Dwarfs on their raid. They were built from the Stormvermin and the regular Goblin kits.
My fist Regiments of Renown Warband is ready.
They already have some matches under their belt. This was the first match against Goatmoerser’s Dwarfs – a fierce battle as the Dwarfs crossed their axes.
During the second match against Elrond de Gravenesse’s Skaven the Chaos Dwarfs had to capture a central house which the Skaven defended.
In the third match against Goatmoerser’s Orcs & Goblins the Chaos Dwarfs had to retrieve a chest full of treasure from the greenskins.
