By far my favourite model when considering the Thanatar range. Not really hunched but a bit more squat, the Thanatar-Calix is the bane of all Tanks and heavy armour. This particular Siege Engine was slightly converted in order to raise the right leg. This conversion was not too complicated and done in a few minutes: just cut of the pin within the knee joint that would normally hold the joint in place. Then I cut some of the creases into the round parts and in the end it looked like this.

The result is a pose that looks as if the Thanatar briefly stops while taking a step in order to aim its Sollex Laser Cannon, only to continue its advance. Seeing all this Thanatar magnificence, I am very looking forward to the Canis-Class Thanatar (which will definitely also find its way into my collection).
