Six years and counting!

Well there went another year faster than ever. Despite a lot of crazy things happening around the world, for me personally it's been a pretty good year and for that I'm extremely grateful. The birth of our 3rd child, my beautiful daughter Daisy :)

Doesn't get any better than that!

I also was fortunate to be able to take extended leave and spend more time at home with the family this past year which has been wonderful. There wasn't much hobby activity the first 3 quarters of the year, but I'm happy with my more recent return to painting and newfound interest in the fantasy setting of Warhammer. Nearly all of the Sigmar starter set models are assembled -- the Stormcast Eternals are done and getting the paint treatment while I assemble the rest of the Bloodreavers to finish off the Goretide.

Chaos is coming soon...
I was even able to play through a few small missions with my friend over the holiday which was very enjoyable. I'm looking forward to finishing both factions, adding some more units, and playing more games of Age of Sigmar. Might even try an escalation league, seems like a perfect way to ease into a new game system and learn your army.

Over the past six years since starting this blog, each year I've either built a new army and attended the NOVA Open... OR have had a kid, basically alternating years with each haha. Based on experience, 2017 is looking like another NOVA / new army year and I'm looking forward to it ;)

Cheers!
