The Barak Varr Bowlers had their first match in my local Games Workshop’s Blood Bowl league. The pleasant surprise was that they won 1:0 during the second half against the Norsca Vikings (a Norse team – duh). I had a great time and would like to thank the other Coach Kartoffel for the thrilling and brilliant match. Although I have to admit that the Dwarves were real lucky that day regarding the dice rolls and the Norse were not. No ultra smart tactics from my side, haha.
The new money the team got were immediately spend for another Lineman for the reserve bench. At an early stage of the last game I was on the field with only ten Dwarves. Luckily the runner recovered without any serious injuries but you never know…
Next match will be against some Nurgle folks. I am quite curious how this match will turn out.

Even if there were lots and lots of injuries, no player suffered a severe wound or even left the playing grounds in a body bag.
The most fun part was to meet another cool player and play against a stylish & neatly painted team.
