I am super excited regarding the upcoming release of the Middle-Earth Battle Companies book! Of course I preordered a copy and will go and fetch it next saturday. What an awesome excuse to start new projects, get them painted fast and even play with them shortly after the project’s start. Another great thing is that most LotR-Players will immediately have enough painted miniatures to start a game or two. But of course I wanted something new for this setting aswell. My first pick were the Dwarves of the Iron Hills. Naturally other projects are lurking already right after them.
This was my first test Dwarf. I have no idea what units will be in the starting team. Yet I would be really surprised if there won’t be a regular warrior included.
I always take my pictures outside the house (quite a hassle during the winter months) and as we still have plenty of snow lying around I tested the snow base on real snow. derp.
Some of the leaks GW published already could tell what certain teams will look like. Of course I’ll give my first love the Moria Goblins a try aswell.
Yet another Warband we could already see were Minas Tirith which I am also looking forward to use.
Isengart will be in the book aswell yet there was no preview so far. Maybe that’s what the starting team might look like? We’ll know on Saturday!
