One new years solution among many others was to focus again on regular old school rank and file Warhammer. After playing several skirmish matches with my Dwarves during the last two years it is time to focus on the next step again. We developed next to our own skirmish stuff rules for small 500 points matches which I would really like to try as soon as possible. And I have to admit that after painting a standard-bearer for my main Dwarf unit and placing them together for a picture I got the first vibe of the good ol’ Warhammer look with the yet small unit. I am not 100% satisfied the freehand on the banner turned out but this is something I have to invest more training I think.

Here we go…that does indeed start to look like a good ol’ Warhammer rank & file unit.
