The beginning of the Death Guard

So as I wait for a couple of things that I ordered online (which I will be revealing soon), I decided to start on the plastic and lead pile in my basement.  Specifically, I have started the Death Guard starter army from the "Know No Fear" box set.

My first unit is the Death Guard Chaos Space Marines.  There are five in the starter box.


Unfortunately, my first attempt at priming the miniatures went terribly awry.  It splattered out in clumps across three of the Death Guard.


Thankfully a quick bath of Pine Sol and a scrubbing with a toothbrush undid the damage.  Once cleaned up and dried off, they were successfully primed.
