Ready for some more busts? Ready for something a wee bit different?

So these busts are really weak with shitty casting and soft details. I could try to paint them up to look super cool, but i would end up fighting the bad casting. I bought them to practice for the better busts I have like that Dwarf and the Zombie. Except I learned something painting the dwarf and zombie busts...
Good busts have great details and make painting them easy and fun! yes there is skill there but also the details can help a lot! No more when I get better pile... I am good enough now and the better the sculpt the better the paint job.

So what to do with all these crappy warm up busts and minis I have purchased?

Use them to learn new things!!!!!

I have been loving these artists and their loose styles...

Rambling Rhubarb on Deviant Art
 Who then pointed me to...
Gregory Manchess
And then on Youtube I found...
Zin Lim

I am sure you can guess what I am going to do with the models that I have with softer detail now!
So here is my palette...
Honestly, I may loosely follow the box art or I may just try very limited palettes. I don't know.

I do know it is time to explore and level up again by learning something new.

So what do you think anything new you want to try?

Thanks for stopping by, give me your thoughts in the comments and remember; you can't spell paint without a little pain :)
