After my win in game 1 of the Marvel Crisis Protocol league (which was shocking to me) I was pretty jazzed for game 2. Maybe I can even win again! So I setup the map ahead of time and started preparing.
Setup
I was hoping to play Deadly Meteors Mutate Civilians 
which is 17 threat. Unfortunately I lost priority and my opponent chose to pick thee Secure Crisis .
That means I pick the Extract Crisis 
and I was hoping to pick Fear Grips World as “Worthy” Terrorize Cities. With some bad luck I randomly discarded that crisis and picked my backup Skrulls Infiltrate World Leadership (17). And my opponent picked Riots Spark Over Extremis 3.0 (17).

Deployment
Turn 1
- Hawkeye wounds Venom & shocks him
- Rocket shoots Valkrie and does 2 damage
- Loki was gutsy and went up the middle to try to find the Skrull agent
- I waited until the end of the round so only MODOK was left. I assumed I could withstand one round from him.
- MODOK dazed Loki in one shot!
Turn 2
- Rocket attacks with Loki with Hadron Collider
- Almost kills him
- Had to use Odin’s Blessing
- Thor strikes & throws an ambulance at Miles which dazes him
Turn 3
- Rocket shoots Hawkeye and does a couple damage
- Hawkeye retaliates dazing Rocket mid-activation
- Loki finds the Skrull at the start of his turn and runs away!
- Venom dazes Valkyrie with All You’ve Got
- Thor damages Miles
Turn 4
- Hawkeye trick-shots Rocket (from behind a truck) KOing him
- Valkyrie dazes Ghost Spider in one attack and does a few damage to Venom
- Miles Moralis dazes Thor with two attacks!
- MODOK moves Hawkeye off a point preventing him from scoring it
Turn 5
- MODOK dazes Hawkeye in one attack & KOs Valkyrie with the other
- Thor Strikes Miles twice & throws a fire-truck at him. He takes a couple points of damage & dodges all damage from the fire-truck
- At least he’s staggered.
Turn 6
- Miles shakes the stagger, moves (with a super power), and finally strike’s Loki who blocks it all
- Loki KOs Miles
- Ghost Spider takes out Black Widow after 2 turns
End of Game
I won 17-8 
Lessons Learned
- MODOK is STRONG! He dazed Loki with one attack
- His attacks are Strong & he can use power for re-rolls
- If Rocket & Hawkeye get into a fight Hawkeye is going to win
- If Hawkeye gets a spike in damage he is amazing
- Ghost Spider is strong. She has so much more damage output than Black Widow
- Valkyrie on Venom is a bad matchup
- Using Shock on Venom helped her survive
- Thor is swing-y
- He can daze someone in a turn and then take another 3-4 turns of swinging and do nothing.
- In a mission like Skrulls you really want to take as many chances as possible to get the objective
- Go for the central objective last since it’s so risky
