Wargames Atlantic really seem to be hitting it out of the park.

Their figure choices seem to be homing in on gaps in the market for the historicals, the Death Fields range are picking up 40K Imperial Guard players and the fantasy creatures with sci fi upgrades are pure craziness.

First up are the multipart plastic 95th Rifles troops.

AS usual, the sprues are small with everything you need on one.

In this case, four Riflemen per sprue with the options for one of them to be built as an officer.

But wait.  What's this?

If you're a fan of the TV exploits of a certain fictional Rifleman, the sprue contains some familiar heads AND a very non-standard weapon for the Rifles.

It appears the two heads on the left below are Harper and Sharpe respectively along with a Tongue/ Hagman head and some forage caps.

There's even a Nock gun (Sharpe's present to Harper for helping capture an Eagle) on the sprue.

As a purist, I object to a version of Sharpe's non-standard straight heavy cavalry sword not being present but you can't have everything.

Next up are the Lizardmen with three figures per sprue.

Weapons this time include an autogun proxy as well as a rifle to represent the Lizardmen's own tech.

A British style musket. There are also spear options.

Many different types of heads including a gas mask variant.

All in all, another nifty kit suitable for Fantasy, Victorian sci-fi and, or as combatants in a Grimdark future.
