I definitely think the damage and weathering helps with the decals.
Aside from making them look part of the colour scheme it helps fill some of the ungainly gaps I was concerned about.
I'm not sure I need to say much else, that I haven't already said before.
So perhaps I just need to leave the pictures to speak for themselves - enjoy!
