NOVA 2024!


It was a last minute decision to go to NOVA as we're still adjusting to the kids' school year starting before Labor day, so I drove down with the older kids after school that Friday.


The AirBnB was great and only 2 miles from the convention hotel. We knew we had picked a good one based on the board game selection they had on offer lol:


Even a similarly worn copy of Risk! (yes, I brought my copy to play with the kids 😉)


I didn't get a lot of pictures as we really only had Saturday to explore the con and honestly it took a little bit to find our way around the new hotel/venue... but we eventually stumbled into the main event hall for 40k & Kill Team and wow what an incredible space it was!









It was a short but sweet trip!




It was awesome briefly meeting up with old friends and seeing familiar faces. Next year, I will hopefully have things better planned out in advance so we can stay onsite and play more games! But honestly it was nice and relaxing not having to be anywhere at any particular time and getting to explore the new venue at our own pace, as well as new parts of downtown DC! We had a great time! 😊
