I picked up the new Farseer when it came out with the Codex. It took me a long time to get around to painting it. He certainly blows away my old metal Farseers away in terms of sculpt.
I wanted to keep the model predominantly green to match the rest of my army, but the model has too many layers of robes to paint them all the same color. I went with my standard jade green for his armor and base layers of robes, with a more grass green color for his outer robes. As another way to make the model a bit more unique, I painted the shaft of his singing spear bone. This allowed me to avoid any blacks or dark metals on the model.
