Hope you all enjoyed your holiday festivities and are anticipating the new year :)
Today's post contains MOAR daemons, as I'm debating on what loadout my warriors of chaos will have (halberds or Hw/s? decisions decisions) and reinforces the fact that the flaming chariot of tzeentch is the best value kit you can ever buy from GW with regards to chaos. You get two discs of tzeentch, a giant flamer a herald, three horrors and two screamers which come with awkward tails if you glue them onto a 40mm square base.

Sadly I recently found out that the 3 pack of screamers comes with two extra tails that fit perfectly with the chariot screamer tails. Well, hmm. Looks like another chariot kit is gonna have to be bought, along with more plagubearers. -_-
On the other hand, the least fancy of the two discs (ie: the one not covered in Tzeentchian iconography) is being kitbashed with the KAY-OSS SPHESS MEHREN vehicle accessory kit to produce the base for a palanquin of Nurgle. Cuz spiky platform with skulls and broken bits rocks. That and the plaguebearer plastic kit gives god mileage for daemon core troops. With 7 nurglings and 2 maggoty things, you can easily make 2 bases of nurglings. Huzzah!
With the palanquin, I'm unsure where to go from here- do I use humans to hold it up, have it on a wave of nurglings? Carried by a beasty? Furthermore, I'm gonna need to rig up a throne or something for the lord/sorcerer to ride on this.
