Sunday 8th February there was the event Replay's Daring Dueling Duos! Replay’s Triple D for short. A double tournament with highlander rules and adjusted maelstrom sheet. Fun and craziness expected!
Crazy!!
So I went with Kim and we played Chaos Space Marines (me) and Chaos Daemons (Kim).  It was her first tournament / event. We took a pretty forward list: move everything 12inch, assault, kill stuff or be killed! In Replay’s Triple D we didn’t get a pairing to begin with. Teams could challenge each other! Crazy shit!
Thinkering what to do

First battle we got challenged by Connect’r Team 2! Eldar and Imperial guard. Lots of dudes in the imperial guard section and a wraithknight & jetbikes in the Eldar part. We had a fun and relaxed game. We managed to kill an enemy psyker thanks to the warp! The game ended 11-9 for Team Connect’r 2. So not bad!

Time for revenge!
Second battle we faced Space Jorgen & The Metalcookies. Space Marines and Necrons this time! We got to deploy first again and got first turn. Everything moved closer. We only lost first blood here and some minor points to objective control. We ended up with 20-0 for us. I felt bad because the Necron player seemed like he couldn’t roll a 3 the whole battle…

Our Third and last battle was against Connect’r Team 3. Dark Eldar and Tau! What a combo! I dislike Tau a lot… And Dark Eldar I know a bit. I didn’t knew Grotesque… So I misjudged those a little bit… Result getting my Chaos Lord killed! We did kill the broadsides and some other nasty stuff. So happy panda! The game ended 11-9 for Team Connect’r 3.

To conclude this event. I had the feeling lots of folks where happy about the event and seem to have enjoyed it a lot. Only minor thingy was that everyone was on time!! And we didn’t had any tables up yet… So damned! Stress factor wasn’t good…Special thanks to all the folks helping and putting everything together! And thanks to the lovely ladies helping us out at the bar!!
I marry the right one ;)
Hmm Croque Monsieur!
All this good food! Nom nom!

Steven also did a test model for my 30k army (while he was judging) ! Hooray for Steven!
