Perhaps inspired by the recent released of Codex: Skitarii (otherwise known as Codex: Not Adeptus Mechanicus!?!), I finished off the Ironclad Dreadnought for my Iron Hands army.
Whilst I like Dreadnoughts, these's been something about finishing this piece that held me back... He just seems a bit, well, auto-CAD? Difficult to explain. Maybe it is the flat black colour scheme, but the Ironclad has always struck me as a bit bland...
He's weathered in the same way as the rest of my army, with decals courtesy of the older GW set (which they no longer produce).
Pigments were used on the weapon mounts and the heat stacks at the back; these added some minor colour variation to the model.
Another view showing the Clan Raukaan badge; I plan on running these models as a Clan army (who could resist the Gorgon's Chain?!).
