After the recent tournament my plans regarding my LotR/Hobbit projects changed quite a bit. I definitely need an own board to practice for the next tournament that I’m going to visit. That’ll most likely be the german championship (with 100 participants) coming summer. Which means I have to keep on working on my terrain and speed things up a bit.
The other thing I have to take care of is that I need a good force aswell. I’ll have to try out some things here and there but I have to keep an eye on this as summer will be approaching faster than I would like. Well if you look at it from the point of painting a whole new army of course.
Today I have a new terrain piece to show. It’s the remains of a long forgotten building of ages past. Of course the movies were a reference here again. Check out this or this picture from the movie The Two Towers.

The other side of the wall. The theme of remains of long past glory is very much Tolkien style I think.

Here you can get an idea of the wall's size. Even cavalry can hide behind it.

All of my board's terrain so far. Definitely not enough yet.

During the building process I am often taking w.i.p.-pictures and felt like sharing them here aswell.

Poor Boromir had to pose as a size reference. He had his last stance only a couple of meters away from this spot.
