Just a short note to say I can recommend using an ultrasonic cleaner for making stripping painted models quicker and easier.

I've previously used Simple Green in a pot (because Biostrip and others don't have NZ stockists).  However, I quickly got downhearted at the amount of time needed to scrub the models with a brush and the pile of old metals needing attention.  So I decided to give a cheap ultrasonic cleaner a try to make the mountain bearable.

My current method is to soak the models in undiluted brown Dettol overnight and put the ultrasonic cleaner on for 3 X 480 second cycles. Then it just takes ~5 seconds per model to remove the gloopy paint.

Viola.

Now I can't compare this method to Biostrip, but I'm happy with the results :)
