Upgrading my Uruk-Hai army of Isengard is still work in progress. This time I finished a massive troll which I would like to play test as soon as possible. They are really expansive pointwise but it’s always a lot of fun to throw your enemies’ troops through the air.
The Troll miniature has an impressive size in comparison to the other two Trolls I painted some time ago. The “The Fallen Realms” book has this to say:
“Following the example of his dark master, Saruman has bred his Trolls far bigger and stronger than their subterranean cousins.”

Of course he is showing a huge white hand just like the other minions of Saruman.
I decided to paint his skin in natural looking earth like colours.
On his base a dead Rohirim can be found – a reminder of the things to come.
