Today is the day and I am happy to announce that the small project I started back in July 2015 is now finished. The Old World’s most tiny Throng is ready now for its first adventures. Actually I am talking about my 100 points strong dwarven force for the Regiments of Renown Warhammer modification. The two new Quarrellers were the last Dwarves needed. It’s always cool to finish a project. But to be honest it is one among 100 others and I had my fair share of fun painting the dwarves so that I already bought enough stuff to get ready for the next step – 500 points. Actually I already painted the Thane for the small army to come.
Really looking forward to the first battles. Somehow I expect that it will be the Skaven my Dwarves will have to fight first. Oh, in case you are wondering why one of the Quarrellers has a red nose, that’s from drinking the fine booze he always carries around. I came up with this little bonus due to the Dogs of War rule of the setting. This should count as “Hand Crafted Ammo” thus granting him the ability to ignore penalties for long distance shots. Dwarves get better with every sip, of course. Later on when he’s part of a bigger unit this little extra should not pop out too much I suppose.

Even if she is not a part of the Regiment of Renown Warband I had to include the Thane Branhilde Olkasdottir again on a picture.
