Lord Navigator Zuurgath Raal has been navigating the ships of the Word Bearers Legion ever since the first fleet of transporting the sons of Lorgar left Terra. From then on Zuurgath Raal climbed up in the hierarchy of his Navigator House becoming a Lord Navigator. Being close with the leadership and the officers around Lorgar himself, Zuurgath was amongst the very first mortals to embrace the dark goods.
This model has been lying around for years now and I finally managed to paint him. Not much to tell, honestly, except for the red of his robe. I went for a slightly different red to distinguish him from the rest of the Legion. Thus I chose a deep crimson with much brighter accents that the regular Legionary’s armour.

To make him look more regal, I chose to give him the finest furs available on Colchis.
