So the Daemons are about to drop out of the warp.  Even though I was half fooling around when I did my last post on stats and powers it seems I might be right.

Future predictions:

Bloodletters:  These guys will see a points decrease. Good right. Well no. I'm guessing 13-15 points.  Put them against a Genestealer and they will fold for the same points ( and we all know that genestealers are not the bee knees in 6th ).  Not sure if the hell blade will get nerfed, but that will be the death of them.  I played 4 games out of 6 at a GT against Daemons and didn't see one bloodletter. Why?  they suck as troops. They are killed by anything and who wants to put there troops in harms way using them for an assualt ???  The real nerf in 6th was the INT bonus was dropped from furious charge.  You kill me I kill you,  maybe ( as you may have a save ).  Also again I don't see these guys shooting. So you miss a entire phase of the game.

Plague bearers:  Still the troop of the masses.  T5, FNP. +4 poision.  Points will stay the same.  15.  still the go to for the new dex.

Daemonettes:  Will see a reduction, but 12 points for them is still piss poor as they don't shoot in a game where shooting is king and being T3.  I remind you, 13 points for a space marine.  Yeah....LOLZ

Nurglings:  I see they may shift to fast and be a scarab type thing.  Though I also see the fast slot becoming full of fun stuff so you won't see these guys either.  If eternal warrior is lost they will be put into storage as well.

The biggy though is the loss of eternal warrior army wide.  If this happens high strength weapons will be back in style  . Missile launchers etc to dime out flamers and screamers.

The biggest thing that seem to up in the air is fearless.  I'm not sold it is going away, but who knows.  Daemonic instability could be a replacement for fearless. Think stubborn.   So 12 blood letters are shot and 2 die to bolters. Their  LD is 8.  The must test for daemonic instability on the 8 every time a model is lost, or something like that. So not fearless, but not auto break.  I can also see if a greater daemon of the same god is near you auto pass within his control area as I know the MC's will not be IC's.

The rest is a huge guess and will depend on the army wide rules.  I see the points and customization of the CSM dex going into this dex as well.  Armor for Khorne, Magic for Tzeentch, Poop or whatever for nurgle, Whips and drugs for Slannesh.  I think we'll see a crazy good and super expensive monster greater daemon that can kill a squad a turn and filler for the rest of the army.  Heralds will add more to units than they have in the past.  Fantasy has set the tally for this in the past so I'd look to see what they will do for the 40k stuff.   All in all it will be themey and fluffy, with a beat stick here and there.  Troops will still be the turd in the punch bowl.

Now hurry up and wait :)
