The Nemesis DreadKnight's mere mention will garner attention from those who have heard the tales of these creations. The walker designed for the express purpose to battle Greater Demons of Chaos in head on head combat is a site to behold in action. The Tech Marines of Mars using lost arts empower this mechanical creation to put the controller on equal footing with even the most foul of dark creations that emerges from the warp. This Exoskeleton is designed to stand the line and push back  evil that will not be denied other wise.

The Dread Knight in and of itself is fearsome and a utility that is only blessed upon the Chapter of the Grey Knights space marines. I say words to you that have been said in the past, Lord Coteaz has a far reach, much farther than most who work within the eyes of the god emperor care to admit. While it is not uncommon to see him travelling with Grey Knight Space marines as he leads battles to purge and destroy the darkness that would dare expose its presence to his knowledge. There are whispers of a personal Dread Knight that he employs amongst his forces. No one dares question how he would have come into possession of such technology that is normally only in the armory of the Grey Knights. The larger question that people dare to consider is what wrong or failure has the pilot done to the High Lord Coteaz that garnered a punishment as his personal pilot of destruction, for the Dread Knight in Coteaz employment is Piloted by some unknown heretic  given one of the worst imaginable punishments available to the Imperium. A multitude of wires and chemical injectors are implanted into the heretics spine, which are then attached to a mechanical suit of destruction. Normally this is known as a Pentinent Engine and when not engaged in combat, their chemical implants inject feelings of guilt and pain directly into their brains, reminding them of their sins. Driven by their pilot's frantic need for forgiveness these engines are truly fearsome on the battle field. However Coteaz must hold some sway over the Priests of Mars or perhaps favors are owed... For his Dread Knight has been wired with the same type of set up..

Who pilots the beast? What horrid act or betrayal would warrant such a punishment? How would even a man such as Coteaz be able to pull such a act of? These are things only whispered and I warn you that whispers can be a very dangerous thing in territory of Coteaz.

These aren't the best pictures these are some fast snaps I took to post up. So my bad on the lack of great sharpness.

So fluff aside this has been a really fun project and I am glad to see it turned out well. As soon as I first saw the model I knew I wanted to do this type of Mod. I have been busy so progress on the army as a whole has been slower than I originally intended but that's life isn't it?

I wanted to throw up some quick snaps of some of the models together to show that the army theme and color choice is really coming together, something you never know if for sure is going to happen until you finish several squads and units.
