Here's the usual summary of posts from the past month, the ones I think are most worth keeping tabs on. I didn't start the year proper until halfway through February, so it looked like being a pretty short list, but putting it together I found the signal was unusually high.
- A simple ruleset for tactical roleplaying in a single post, pretty much all you need to start playing old school style, with deep innovation and hard knocks
- More homebrew for 40K, on getting the feel of a campaign into basic games
- Ten wizard's towers, now a subtable in the community project at Gorgonmilk
- A very brief history of early D&D, effectively a core glossary for the systems
Looking ahead then, I'm working on a simple one-post setting and campaign for the old school ruleset, a blend of fantasy and military sci-fi with a set of factions, new creatures and equipment, and I should be making headway on more of the ongoing series as well.
