Here is the very beginnings of my Iron Warriors force. The Angels Exterminatus book really turned me on to the legion and an now half way through Storm of Iron. I painted up a couple test models in the two tone metallic just to see if I would want to paint them. I liked the contrast more than I thought I would so I gave myself the green light to attempt to make them look good.
I picked up the range of Hi-Tech Miniatures that fiteh Iron Warrirors Theme well. A pack of each Terrorizor to act as oblitorators, and their General Lord Exhorder made a great warpsmith. Lastly, the "Purturbo" model was the icing on the cake to make a very good primarch counts as.
The oblits are little bulkier than a regular termie which I think is very good. Their warpsmith model is a good size and looks less like a regular techmarine which I like. The last is "Purturbo" (guess who he is supposed to be... He looked too cool not to pick up and other marines are chest high to him which is just right according to the HH books. Too anxious to get pics before I primed them, but wanted to at least get the metal on so you can see the details a bit better.
