Conan: Princess Yasmela of Khoraja

The Conan game includes a generic Princess model, generally for the heroes to rescue. While she could represent a number of princesses from the stories, I think she best fits Princess Yasmela of Khoraja from Black Colossus. In the story, the god Mitra tells her to entrust the war to save her kingdom from the wizard Natohk to the first man she meets. She throws a cloak over her diaphanous royal garments and ventures out into her city, where she finds Conan.





I think the model perfectly fits Yasmela when she first meets Conan. I tried for a healthy, rosy skin tone, and I think it looks pretty good. I used lots of glazing to try and get a soft appearance to her skin. I went for a very light blue loin cloth because that seemed appropriately gossamer, and a red cloak just because I like painting red.

Next up will be another female model, though she's described as extremely pale, so I'll be trying a much lighter skin tone than anything I've painted so far.
