With my friends at the FW Open Day this weekend (gits) I remain at home. It came to me today that it's the release of the new Tau models (apparently GW have sold out online, interesting) and this reminded me that the first White Dwarf I bought, when I joined the hobby was the last time GW did Tau.
So I suppose really, this is a sub-nostalgic kind of recap post. Where have I got to in the years of hobbying. I suppose not as much as I wanted to get done, we all have grand ideas and less motivation but here's a brief list of what I have to do...
- Continue expanding the Krieg, this is a secondary objective as they are a playable force. So it's a pick and choose kind of thing.
- Dark Angels - progress is slow which is a shame. But hopefully I'll forge ahead...
- The Hobbit Escape from Goblin Town.
- Lord of the Rings Elven Warband - Glorfindel, Arwen, Gandalf, Warriors of the Last Alliance.
- I want to do some Chaos. Possibly Word Bearers but am not sure, I want to utilise the Crimson Slaughter models in Dark Vengeance but not sure if they suit Word Bearers?
So here's to another, what 8yrs in the hobby....
