Here's the start of my first hobby project for the new year, a peek at what's next in the line-up, and some pictures from a recent game of 40k.

Space Marine Heroes: Series 2

Here we have Brother Feurran which I picked up at the local Barnes & Noble. I wasn't sure which terminator hero I was getting, but am happy with the random draw. You can't really go wrong with whatever you get as the entire range is quite nice. I've got the model primed and assault cannon drilled so this one is ready for paint time. I'm thinking of painting him up as a special dude for my Raptors army... decisions...

Space Marine Adventures: Labyrinth of the Necrons

Next up is Space Marine Adventures: Labyrinth of the Necrons. The models in this one look incredible and I'm excited to paint these up with my kids. I'm also really intrigued by the boardgame itself, especially after hearing it feels a bit like Space Hulk-lite. Looking forward to trying out this weekend.

And finally, here's a couple shots from the first 40k game of the year with my son Gabe. He's rockin' his freshly painted Riptide for the first time since Santa brought it, and is now starting to realize "the gift that keeps on giving" each & every game you play with that model on your side! 😂

I've been on the receiving end of a few of these monstrosities before... on the bright side, I live with someone who plays Tau and can hopefully provide me the requisite # of reps/beatings until I learn how to deal with them effectively with my majority Toughness 3 space elves 😉

The person with the most models within 3" of the plasma sphere at end of turn 5 wins.

Is the Good actually Greater?

Who do you think will pull out the win: the two-shoes Tau, or the bottom-less pit of despair Drukhari??

Do you expect your winnings to be paid out in collective utility, or tortured souls???

Find out next time, cheers!
