So November has flown by in a blur, which I guess I should come to expect by now given that 3 of my 4 children have back to back to back Fall birthdays which lead right into the busy holiday season 😅
In other words, not much time for blogging. But I got pretty close to finishing the Unity Unit pledge -- I fell short on the Venom, but I made a ton of progress on other projects that I'm pretty excited about.
It's been unseasonably warm, so I used the opportunity to get a bunch of future projects primed up before the winter cold arrives.
So many bits for different (and unrelated) projects - my hobby ADD on full display 😉 |

I ran out of black primer but found some grey which was perfect for these old terrain pieces:
Re-purposing Micro-machine toys from my childhood lol |
Costco for the win |
the "cleaner" 2x4's only had a couple nails on each end... |
It was also a bit of a challenge doing all of this work in a smaller space; basements already have a way of collecting a bunch of crap naturally over time, but factor in these multi-purpose pandemic times, and well, excuse the clutter in the background.

I'm really pleased with how the table came out! I had put together a quick visio sketch of the plan I had in mind back in September, but then lost the file, so had to recall most of the dimensions for the cuts, but things mostly turned out level.
It looks pretty cool and also illuminates any dice/minis/tokens that fall around the floor of the table during a night fight.
I'll do a more detailed write up soon on how I made this table with better pictures from my wife's camera. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Cheers and stay safe!
