First and foremost the NOVA OPEN was a hit.  Most everyone one i have talked to had a really great time and even the ones who got a little butt hurt still had a good time minus whatever made them so sour.  Great Job NOVA staff and MVB. Torrent of Fire was a hit as well and it is just fun to yell ;)

So the new Grey Knight's.....  Well Mr Ward your dex is officially dead and replaced with Mr Kelley's eldar.  These guys were brutal on almost every game( not just winning, but tabling opponents ). Tau gave the title a run for it's money for a month and that was left in the dust.  So yes every other table seemed to be Tau or Eldar or Taudar or El-Tau.  Lots of dumb gun lines and unsinkable jet-stars.  I hated these builds in 5th, and even more in 6th.  The Heldrake is a constant whipping boy of the term op unit.  I guess these guys never played a hit and run 2++ re-roll-able seer council.  Bad rolls are they only thing that will lose this army the game.  Way too forgiving tactically. They are super fast, awesome armor save, ability to kill high toughness etc, and won't get bogged down by tar pit units.   More power to you if you run them and are just wanting to win Vs. actually having a fun game.  More than a few people at the NOVA this year lost the ideal of having 6-8 good games and just wanted to win and be in top brackets.  Now I digress there were a ton of other players that did play TAU and Eldar that actually played a good game and had fun ( their opponent did the same ).

last thing was a shout out to James W.  He ran a great trios @ NOVA and took a army that most scoff at (CSM ) and did awesome.  No list tailoring , no flavor of the month, just good old tactics and wanting to have fun.  CONGRATS JAMES !!!!
